This policy explains what personal data we collect on asteroi.co, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights.

2. What data we collect
Data you give us
When you fill in a form on our site, we only collect what that form asks for:
- Newsletter: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
- Free tools (calculator, AOV Unlocker and similar): name, email address, your role and your company name.
- Audit request: first name, last name, company, revenue range and email address.
If you tick the box to receive our newsletter, we also store the exact wording you agreed to and the date.
Technical data created when you submit a form
- The page you submitted it from.
- Your browser type.
- An irreversibly scrambled version of your IP address. We never store the original IP. We use it only to limit abusive submissions.
Browsing data (only if you accept)
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects usage data: pages viewed, time on site, where the visit came from, device and approximate location. If you don’t accept, it is never loaded.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

You can withdraw your consent at any time. For the newsletter, use the “unsubscribe” link in any email. For analytics, use the “Cookie settings” button in the footer.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it with the providers we need to run the site. Each one handles the data on our instructions:

Some links on our site take you to outside services with their own privacy policies. Those services handle your data as independent controllers:
- Calendly, to book the audit call.
- ScoreApp, for the profitability quiz.
- ChatGPT (OpenAI), for the GPT assistants we deliver as tools.
- YouTube, only if you click to play a video.
We may also share data when the law requires it or to defend our legal rights.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Several of these providers are US companies. When your data leaves the European Union, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep your data
- Newsletter: for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email marked as “unsubscribed” and the record of when and how you subscribed, so we never write to you again and can show you consented.
- Unconfirmed sign-ups: if you sign up for the newsletter and never click the confirmation link, we delete that sign-up one week after the link expires.
- Tools and audit requests: up to 2 years from our last contact, unless you become a client.
- Clients: for the length of the business relationship, then for as long as tax rules require.
- Google Analytics: up to 14 months.
- Newsletter confirmation links: expire after 48 hours.
7. Security
- The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- Forms are protected by a spam check and submission limits.
- Access to the database is restricted and password-protected.
- IP addresses are stored only in irreversibly scrambled form.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- Access: to know what data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Correction: to fix anything that is wrong.
- Deletion: to erase your data.
- Objection and restriction: to stop using it, or use it only for some purposes.
- Portability: to receive it in a format you can take to another service.
- Withdrawal of consent: without affecting anything done before.
Email hey@asteroi.co and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will answer within one month. We may ask for some information to confirm your identity.
If you think we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. For example:
- the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) in Spain;
- the ANPD in Brazil;
- the AAIP in Argentina;
- the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce in Colombia.
9. Children
Our site is aimed at professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we find we have, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date. If the change is significant, we will also email our subscribers.
